Jake Lloyd was arrested over the weekend following a high-speed car chase.
The actor, best known for playing a young Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, is facing charges after failing to stop for police in South Carolina.
The charges relate to failing to stop for officers and reckless driving after reaching speeds over 100mph.

According to BBC News, the chase lasted 25 miles and came to an end after Lloyd drove into a wooded area, hit several small trees and stopped.
The 26-year-old was still in prison on Sunday evening having not posted bail.
