Cricketer Darren Gough has apparently split from his wife Anna according to reports this morning.
The Strictly Come Dancing champion released a statement following claims he had left the family home after forming a relationship with reality star Amy Childs while filming The Jump.
It read: “In response to the stories in today’s press I can confirm that I am no longer in a relationship with Anna. However, we remain close friends and committed parents to our children.
“We will not be making any further comments on this and politely ask that you please respect our family’s privacy at this time.”
Rumours were rife that Darren and TOWIE‘s Amy had grown close although a close friend quickly denied that they were ever in a relationship.
They told the Daily Mail: “She is really upset to be labelled with this because they are not in a relationship and they haven’t seen each other since they got back.”
Darren and Anna have two children together, Liam and Brennan. This split comes five years after they reconciled following a divorce in 2002.
Darren and Amy apparently got on very well while they were filming Channel 4’s The Jump.
