Geri Halliwell is getting ready for a trip down the aisle having gotten engaged to her Formula One beau Christian Horner.
The former Spice Girl seemingly took a leaf out of Benedict Cumberbatch’s book and made the announcement by placing a notice in The Times newspaper.
The listing on the Births, Marriages and Deaths page reads: “Mr C.E.J. Horner OBE and Geri Halliwell, The engagement is announced between Christian, son of Mr and Mrs G.M. Horner and Geraldine, daughter of the late Mr L.F. Halliwell and Mrs A. Parkinson.”
The couple, who have known each other since 2009, went public with their romance earlier this year. They both have children from previous relationships.
Geri has an eight-year-old daughter while Christian has a one-year-old daughter and two stepsons from his 14-year relationship with Beverley Allen.
