Beyoncé has apparently not been on speaking terms with her father for quite some time now, considering the messy end to his marriage to her mother and subsequent divorce.
Matthew Knowles has claimed that up to this point he has not even met his own granddaughter Blue Ivy such is the extent of how bad the relationship is with his daughter.
However, Matthew did get married this weekend and presumably invited both of his daughters, but according to TMZ, the pair were no-shows for the wedding.
Knowles married Gena Avery in Houston Texas following a year and a half long engagement. Avery is a former model.
Beyoncé’s father told TMZ: “Unfortunately, Beyonce and Solange had previous engagements which made it impossible for them to attend.”
Knowles parents officially divorced in 2011.
