Catherine Tyldesley and her boyfriend Tom Pitfield have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy.
The Coronation Street star announced the news on Twitter this afternoon and revealed what they have called their new arrival.

Her other half echoed these sentiments, writing that the actress has made him “the happiest man in the world.”
Catherine, who plays Eva Price in the popular ITV soap, previously spoke out about the prospect of motherhood.
She told HELLO! magazine: “I feel strongly being a mother is something I am supposed to do.”
