Australian actress and star of the Amityville Horror, Melissa George, has announced that she is expecting her first child on Twitter.
George tweeted that she was “so so happy” to be expecting her first baby with her French millionaire boyfriend Jean-David Blanc.
The 37-year-old began dating Blanc in 2012 following her break-up with rap mogul Russell Simmons, according to the Daily Telegraph.
The actress told the Telegraph last year: “I would love my own kids. That stuff is obvious,” she said.
“I am going to be a mother, absolutely obvious no matter how, when, what. I really am picking the right father for my child. It’s very simple.”
The couple have reportedly begun to tell friends and family about the news and are both extremely excited.
George, who hails from Perth, now currently lives in Paris with her other half.
