Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s weight loss has been a subject of concern among her fans of late.
The star, who recently hit back at criticism on her Instagram account, has maintained that she is perfectly healthy but did lose some weight following the death of her father-in-law earlier this year.

However, fans’ concern mounted when the star showed up for her first X Factor appearance in Manchester, with many speculating that the judge had lost even more weight.
Now, fellow X Factor judge Simon Cowell has shrugged off the concern and insisted that there is nothing to worry about.

Cheryl’s slim frame has sparked concern.
Speaking to The Sun, he revealed that the star is “eating like a horse”.
He said: “This is not someone who’s trying to make herself thin. I think she did pick up a bug.”

Simon has brushed off concern.
The music mogul suggested that the singer is making improvements in how she deals with public backlash surrounding her weight issues.
“I think the way she’s approaching what was addressed about her weight in a very open way – by saying she is thin and is trying to put on weight – is great.”
He added: “I don’t think she would have done that two years ago.”

Cheryl has been described as Simon’s “golden girl”.
It seems the pair have each other’s backs as Cheryl was heard praising the 55-year-old last week.
Cheryl said: “I’ve always admired his strength and tenacity, but now I have a whole new level of respect and love for him.”
