Greys Anatomy and Scandal creator Shonda Rhimes has adopted her third child.
The producer shared the great news on Twitter.
“Been AWOL from Twitter. I totally have a good reason: TINY HUMAN #3 is here and she’s perfect! Babies are good. Life is good. #2shows3kids,”she tweeted to her fans.
According to Us Weekly, the baby girl has been named “Beckett.”
The newborn makes three daughters for Rhimes, who adopted Harper in June 2002 and Emerson in February 2012.
Kerry Washington, who stars in Scandal, offered congratulations to Rhimes on Twitter, writing simply, “U ROCK!”

“I’ve been writing adoption into story lines on my shows and only a few people close to me knew about my plans,” Rhimes told Us Weekly back in 2012.
“I think the response was ‘oh my goodness’ from a lot of people.”
