Broadway star Megan Hilty and her husband Brian Gallagher have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl.
The multitalented actress, who starred in Smash and a number of other television shows, confirmed the news on Twitter.
She wrote: “She’s here! Can’t possibly describe how lucky/grateful/happy/EXHAUSTED we feel in only 140 characters. Welcome to the world, Miss Viola!”
Her other half echoed the sentiments, tweeting: “The rumors are true! WE (by WE I mean Meg) DID IT! Our beautiful baby girl is here & she’s perfect (just like her mom). Thanks for the love! [sic].”
The little one, whose name is Viola Philomena, was born in New York City on Thursday (September 18th), according to Us Weekly.
Megan and Brian tied the knot in The Venetian Chapel, Las Vegas, in November of last year.
Brian and Megan have just welcomed their first child together.
