Mel B joined the X Factor earlier this year and she has made quite the impact, both as a mentor and a judge.
Even though her opinions aren’t always shared by everyone, she is known for her honesty and this has made her a popular addition to the show.
Her former bandmate Mel C also shares this view and recently spoke to MailOnline, praising her friend.
“She is simply brilliant on it and I knew she would be brilliant. She not’s trying to fulfil a role or anything like that, she’s just being herself. I think the show needed shaking up” said the singer.
Mel C also talked about Victoria Beckham and how she admires her for forging a successful career as a fashion designer: “I haven’t been to see her shop yet because I’m trying not to spend too much money. Victoria has done incredible things and all of us girls are just so proud of her”.
“To think she’s gone from a pop group to doing so well in the fashion industry. It’s completely unprecedented and all credit to her for the passion she has for it and for how hard she has worked on it” continued the singer.
Mel C is all about the girl power!
Oh, and if you were hoping for a Spice Girls reunion, don’t give up just yet. Mel, mother to five-year-old Scarlet, said that while there are no plans yet, hopefully it could happen one day.
“We had an amazing time in 2007 and we would love to do it again. But we’ve got kids and careers to juggle around but hopefully one day when all the stars are in alignment, we can make it happen. But there’s no plans at the moment”.
“There are territories that we never got to perform in like Australia, South America and other places where we really have this huge fan base. If we go on tour then it would be so great to visit them and say thank you to them” added the star.
