Home-schooled Emma Roberts didn’t escape the bullies, admitting she had her own real life Mean Girls moment at a high school football game.
The 23 year old, who was promoting her latest flick on E! news told the interviewers:
“I was home schooled for like six years. I was very fine being home schooled. I was like, ‘I get to sleep in and do school in my pyjamas. I will take this over any regular high school experience’.”
But she didn’t miss out on all the drama and fun of high school and said she used to socialise with her friends by attending their school’s dances, football games and parties:
“Like I’d go to all the parties. My friends went to schools with football teams, so I’d go to the football games. Actually, I was like at a football game and someone was like, ‘You don’t go here!’ And I was like, ‘I know.’ Because I’d always be at their school. I kind of had the best of both worlds.”
The experience doesn’t seem to have scarred the actress, who said that as she’s getting older, she’s learned to ‘care less’.
