Saoirse Ronan and Jack Lowden are officially married
Irish actress Saoirse Ronan has married Jack Lowden in a private ceremony in Edinburgh.
The Foe actress married Lowden in a secret ceremony last weekend.
A small number of their closest friends reportedly attended the event.
Guests were reportedly sworn to secrecy as the newlyweds wanted to avoid the attention of the paparazzi.
The Independent reports, “Only a handful of the couple’s closest friends were present – and all the guests were sworn to secrecy.”
The actors reportedly got married at the Edinburgh Central Registrar’s Office at the City Chambers.
Ronan and Lowden wanted to keep the celebration as low-key and private as possible.
The secret ceremony took place last weekend, according to reports.
The pair are notoriously private about their relationship so the low-key wedding comes as no surprise to fans of both actors.
The Brooklyn actress has been dating Jack Lowden since they worked together on Mary Queen of Scots in 2018.
They sparked engagement rumours last summer when Lowden posted a photo of the Little Women star’s hand with a diamond ring on it.
