Former reality TV star Maria Fowler is reported to be recovering after an alleged suicide attempt.
The 26-year-old, who used to star on our screens as part of The Only Way Is Essex gang, allegedly took an overdose of pills and had to spend three nights in hospital.
She is now thought to be recovering at her mother’s home.
Friends of Fowler told The Mirror that she had been feeling down for some time.
“Maria was feeling at an all-time low. She was facing a lot of personal issues,” they told the paper.
Last week, Maria tweeted about being “poorly”.
She wrote, “I have been in hospital, am ok, just a bit poorly. Hopefully will be out later on.”
Maria has been tweeting since her time in hospital.
She continued to tweet out of hospital, writing, “Fake friends are like shadows always near you at your brightest moments, but nowhere to be seen at your darkest hour.”
