She may only be six months old, but Princess Charlotte is already worth more than most of us could hope to earn in a lifetime.

She’s only made two royal appearances, but that hasn’t stopped the princess from creating her own fan base and racking up a serious fortune in the process.

New research by London-based consultants at Brand Finance, started evaluating the worth of the royal family to the UK economy, and the results were shocking.

While the ‘Kate Effect’ has long been documented, mainly by the number of dresses selling out in high-street stores, it’s believed her stylish endorsement of key fashion brands is worth an estimated £4.7 billion.

This was closely followed by Princess Charlotte who was estimated to be worth more than £3billion to the UK economy.

Prince George came in behind his little sister, generating an estimated £2.3 billion for UK businesses.

Not a bad chunk of short change for little ones not yet knee-high.
