Prince Harry used to have a VERY different name on social media

You’d never guess it…

Social media is a big deal these days and although the royal family don’t have their own personal accounts, Kensington Palace does the job for them.

Meghan Markle deleted her Instagram account after her relationship with Prince Harry became public knowledge but it turns out that Harry used to have his own social media accounts but under a fake name.

Yup, Harry apparently went by the name Spike Wells and there’s a specific reason for the use of this particular moniker.

The 33-year-old used to wear his hair in a spiky style, hence the name Spike and according to The Telegraph, a Facebook profile, friends with some of Britain’s richest people, under the name of Spike Wells previously existed.

It disappeared after pictures of Prince Harry partying in Las Vegas emerged online a few years back and it seems that was the end of his social media activity.

Earlier this week, it emerged that Princess Beatrice has a secret Instagram account after her close friend Karlie Kloss accidentally revealed the details.

With the Princess due to marry this coming October, there’s a lot of media attention surrounding her.

However, her profile is private which means there’s no chance of checking out her Instagram anytime soon.
