Prince Harry is said to be on the brink of announcing his engagement to girlfriend Cressida Bonas.
According to the US version of OK! magazine, the 29-year-old royal wants to make sure he has followed the correct procedure before telling the world.
An ‘insider’ told the publication, which also reported that the Duchess of Cambridge was pregnant with her second child so let’s just take everything with a pinch of salt, that chances are he has already done the deed.
“Palace sources say there’s not been a formal request made to Her Majesty yet, but the fact we’re hearing about it means it’s likely he’s already popped the question and they’re waiting until all the boxes are ticked before formally announcing it.”
The ‘source’ added: “It’s no secret the Queen would dearly love to see her roguish grandson settle down, and she thinks Cressy is his ideal match.”
But while we would also dearly love to see another royal wedding and think Harry and Cressy (as we’re sure the Queen calls her) make a lovely couple, we won’t be buying the hat just yet.
Also, there’s the fact that there has been no official announcement from Buckingham Palace or the couple who have been dating for well over a year.
Cressida has been dating Prince Harry for over a year.
