Scarlet Johansson believes pornography can be productive for the female sex.
Porn is a major theme in the 28-year-old’s latest movie Don Jon and Scarlett has been pretty open about her views on the subject.
Cover girl for the December issue of Marie Claire, Scarlett said in an interview with the magazine, “”I think porn, like anything else, can be enjoyed.” It can be productive for both men and women.”
Don Jon tells the story of a womanising porn addict played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Jon) who is on a quest to find both love and a fulfilling sex life. Scarlett plays the part of Barbara, romantic movie obsessive, who eventually falls for Jon.
Although Scarlett speaks positively about porn, she points out that it is possible to watch too much, when speaking about her on-screen boyfriend’s porn obsession.

“If I found out my boyfriend watched that much porn, I would be totally flabbergasted, for sure,” she revealed.”
Johansson, who recently became engaged to businessman Romain Dauriac, said that everyone is guilty of expecting too much from their partners.
“It would be much easier if the people we fell in love with behaved the we wanted them to,” Johansson said.
“I’ve learned over time that what makes life interesting, relationships interesting, are the complexities of relationships and people and the fact that we can become more evolved ourselves if we are forced to compromise and accept the differences amongst one another.”
