Pierce Brosnan’s late daughter Charlotte secretly married her long-term boyfriend Alex Smith just days before she died of ovarian cancer.
The Navan man walked his 42-year-old stepdaughter down the aisle on June 14th at a low-key ceremony in London, the Irish Sun reports.
The couple invited only family and close friends to their special day.
A source told the paper: “Bella looked beautiful and wore a wreath of flowers around her head that matched her mum’s.
“It wasn’t a day to be sad. Alex and Pierce were both smiling broadly.”
Charlotte’s mum and Pierce’s late wife, Bond actress Cassandra Harris and Charlotte’s grandmother also died of ovarian cancer.
Cassandra and Pierce, 60, were married from 1980 until her death at just 43-years-old in 1991.

Pierce spoke out yesterday following Charlotte’s death at the weekend and said they’re desperate to find a cure for the “wretched disease”.
He said: “Our hearts are heavy with the loss of our beautiful dear girl.
“We pray for her and that the cure for this wretched disease will be close at hand soon.”
Charlotte was survived by her husband, 15-year-old Isabella and eight-year-old Lucas.
Teenager Isabella was by her mother’s bedside as she passed away at their London home.
Pierce had arrived in from the UK to join the family as Charlotte lost her three-year battle with the illness.
Days before her death, Charlottee’s daughter posted a message on Facebook which read:
“I love you mummy!! I really, really do.
“You’re such a special person and you’re my angel.”
