The actress attended last night’s event, Make Equality Reality, at West Hollywood’s Montage Hotel.
The evening was held on behalf of the global charity, Equality Now, an organisation that aims to end violence and discrimination against females all over the world.
Pinkett Smith’s solo appearance comes amid rumours that she and husband, Will, are living separate lives.

The 42-year-old star turned heads at the black-tie event with her new look that was all too familiar.
A similar haircut worn by daughter Willow, caused controversy a few years ago, and sparked comments from the parents of Willow’s fans that she was too young to being making such drastic image changes.
