Miley Cyrus and Sinead O’ Connor were the talk of the town (Irish translation = everyone was speaking about their feud) a couple of weeks ago when they started criticising each other and things quickly escalated into a full-on war.
Although neither party was particularly happy with what the other had to say, it got us thinking about who we would most like to send an open letter to…
Helen Flanagan

Ah Helen… sure she’s harmless really but she should really put more clothes on, she’ll catch her death one of these days! It also might be an idea to curb the Instagram pictures. We don’t need quite so many updates.
Simon Cowell

Only Simon could think it was a good idea to name his son after him, because the world really needs another Simon Cowell. He can be arrogant and often condescending, yet he’s a brilliant businessman considering his multimillionaire status. It might be a good idea to ask about his success formula and if there was anything romantic between him and a certain Miss Cole.
Enda Kenny
The people of Ireland could definitely do with writing The Taoiseach an open letter, in fact there is so much to say we’re not quite sure where to start. The lack of jobs, increased taxes, cuts to important allowances… the list just gets longer and longer! He’s not entirely responsible for the problems the recession landed us in but hey, a girl has to start somewhere.
Amy Huberman
Open letters aren’t all about giving out, in fact there are some people we really want to share the love with. Amy is most definitely number one on our list, from her hilarious Twitter account to dressing up as her husband on Halloween… she’s just too cool. Even our own Sue agrees and she isn’t easy to impress!
Bono
He may have the freedom of Dublin city but he’s not everybody’s cup of tea. First of all, why does he feel the need to wear sunglasses indoors? He might think he looks like a celebrity but in reality it’s a bit silly. That said, he has done his bit for charity together with his wife Ali… you’re a decent aul sod really Bono.
Kate Middleton

Kate is a princess so first on the list would be how exactly you go about achieving such a goal and rather than attempt to advise royalty this letter would be full of questions. Is Harry as lovely as he seems? Is William conscious about that bald patch? How did you get your amazing figure back so quickly after having a baby?
Bressie
This letter would mainly concentrate on how much we appreciate his manly arms and shoulders and you know, just him in general. Judging by the reaction this man got when taking part in music show The Voice of Ireland, we’re pretty sure the women of Ireland could get on board with this letter.
Jennifer Lawrence

J-Law tripped on the way to collect her Oscar and instead of laughing at her faux-pas, everyone one fell in love with her. She cemented her reputation as one of the coolest ladies around at this week’s Hunger Games: Catching Fire premiere when she insisted a barrier be opened so she could speak to a special fan. Have a look at the video above, it would melt the hardest of hearts.
