Olivia Wilde has revealed the reason why she didn’t get a lead role in Wolf of Wall Street.
Margot Robbie played the lead female role in Scorsese’s movie but before she got it Olivia Wilde was considered for the role.
The reason she didn’t get it is pretty shocking. She was apparently ‘too old’.
She’s THIRTY TWO.
Instead, Margot, 25, starred as Leonardo DiCaprio’s (41) wife in the movie.
According to Entertainment Weekly, when Howard Stern asked if she missed out the role because she was too beautiful she replied, “No, I don’t think so. The funniest thing I heard recently was I had heard for a part that I was too sophisticated. And I was like, ‘Oh, that sounds nice.’ I like that feedback.
I didn’t get the part, but I’m a very sophisticated person. And then I found out later that they actually said ‘old.’ I want to make a translation sheet for Hollywood that’s all the feedback your agents give you and what it really means.”
She later went on Twitter to stress the fact that she wasn’t dissing Margot when she said that.
And my interview went on to say that Margot Robbie crushed that role like a sexy ninja and I LOVED her in it.?⚡️?
