So to hear that he’s now turned 16 is, to put it mildly, a bit terrifying.
The eldest of Victoria and David’s four children is celebrating his 16th birthday this week and rewinding back to 1999, who could forget the media frenzy around the choice of name – picked due to it being the place where he was conceived.
“I like Brooklyn as a name – it’s quite different – but you couldn’t do it all the time,” Victoria said at the time.
Brooklyn, who made his modelling debut in 2014, also hit the headlines that year for getting a weekend job in a local coffee shop near their house and for joining the Arsenal youth squad.
David revealed this week that Brooklyn will be having two parties for his 16th, one for family and one for friends.
“I think he wants to go for a dinner with his friends and he’ll have a separate dinner with his family,” David revealed to Good Morning Britain.
