Singer Alanis Morissette and her husband Mario Treadway have been sued by a former nanny who claims that the she was not paid for overtime and was forced to work without any meal breaks.
Filed by former nanny Bianca Cambeiro, the lawsuit seeks $30,000 in unpaid wages and $100,000 in damages.
The lawsuit was filed last Thursday.
According to the Daily Mail, Cambeiro was the night nurse for the singer and worked three to four days a week from 9pm to 9am.
The ex-nanny claimed she was employed by the couple from August 2011 to March 2013, she also said that she travelled with the singer on tour and allegedly worked seven days straight on several occasions.

Cambeiro also alleged that she was forced to stay in the bedroom for 12-hour shifts, after she was told that the singer’s son could not be left alone in any circumstances.
According to reports, reps for the singer were unavailable for comment.
