We all know that Harry Styles from One Direction is a bit of a smooth operator but judging from this story, he could be starting to fall head-over-feet for Taylor Swift.
According to reports, Harry has been looking for a special present to buy Taylor for her birthday next week. The country crooner is turning 23 on Thursday and, apparently, Harry is up the walls searching for the perfect piece of jewellery to give to her.
“Harry’s been on the phone to leading Los Angeles jeweller Robert Procop, who designed Angelina Jolie’s engagement ring. He’s been asking advice on what pieces can be made, or what are already available that would suit Taylor,” said a friend of Harry’s, speaking to the Irish Daily Star.
“He’s happy to splash the cash on a nice ring, not an engagement ring or anything silly like that. He’s looking for something traditional,” the friend added.
Harry is reportedly going out of his way to spoil Taylor on her birthday…
This must be one special ring because the friend revealed that Harry has been talking to famous jewellery store Tiffany’s in New York about bling as well.
“He wants a fun, colourful stone. Harry really is the ultimate romantic – very sentimental and generous. He’s only just getting to know Taylor but as her birthday is coming up next week he wants to buy something lovely for her,” said the friend.
“Everyone who knows Harry knows that he’ll always go the extra mile for a girlfriend. He’s done some mad things in the past,” the friend added.
We’d tread carefully if we were you Harry – after all if you mess things up with Taylor you could end up in one of her songs…
