It’s no secret that Gwyneth Paltrow is a gym bunny but it seems her exercise demands are getting increasingly ridiculous.
The actress is constantly snapped coming in and out of the gym looking less than glamorous. However, it seems her requests are that of a full-on diva.
“Before she showers, Gwyneth makes someone go into the stall and wipe the entire shower dry!” an insider told Life & Style magazine, adding: “She refuses to touch what she called ‘somebody else’s shower water’.”
Adding to her apparent obsession with germs, the source adds: “She also refused to use toilet paper that anyone has touched and demands an unopened package,” adding: “It’s nuts.”
40-year old Gwyneth, married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, is currently following the Tracy Anderson regime involving rigorous Pilates exercise. In order to keep up with the demanding routines she is reported to insist on a special brand of water.
Gwyneth just loves the gym
Though the gym is already stocked with a handful of labels, the Shallow Hal star insists on allegedly sending “someone to the gas station to buy a couple of bottles of Smart Water” for her when she is working out.
The source continues: “She made such a fuss about it not being stocked, but she doesn’t come in often enough.”
Gwyneth may look like s star on the red carpet and act like a diva in the gym but at home it’s a different story.
In an interview with People magazine, the mother of two said, “”Around the house, I’m in jeans and a T-shirt. I don’t really wear make-up. That’s what [my family] are used to.”
“And Chris will make a joke about it. If I’ve gotten fully dressed up, he’ll be like, ‘Oh, wow! You’re Gwyneth Paltrow! Because he’s used to seeing me in baggy shorts and frizzy hair.”
