Ever wondered what ever happened to the old Miley Cyrus? Where did that longhaired, country girl go? Well, MTV promise to answer any queries with their fly on the wall documentary about the singer.
‘Miley: The Movement’ follows the last four months of the singers life, which website, The Wrap, reports a press release promises captures “the full essence and evolution of Cyrus as she gears up for the release of her debut album.”
“I have this freedom to do whatever I want, because I’m starting as a new artist now,” Cyrus explains.
Miley wants her fans to experience the triumphs and struggles with her.
The trailer shows snippets of the singer preparing for that MTV Video Music Awards performance, getting advice from Queen of VMA controversy herself, Britney Spears.
The 20-year-old tells Spears how everyone “takes the VMAs so serious and I just want to come out and like shoot a hot dog gun.”
Cyrus goes on to reveal her intentions and how she knows that she was “like, born to become who I am, like, right now.”
“You’re always going to make people talk… you might as well make them talk for, like, two weeks rather than two seconds.” We’ll give her that.
Britney and Miley discuss plans for her VMA performance.
The show will air in the US October 2nd, we might have to wait a few days longer before getting to see it… we shall wait with bated breath.
