Michael Jackson’s children went to see their father’s body in the morgue ten times, his mother Katherine Jackson revealed in an emotional TV interview screened last night.

The interview came days after what would have been the King of Pop’s 55th birthday with Katherine stating that Michael’s daughter Paris was devastated. “She was screaming and crying when Michael died saying, ‘I want to go with you Daddy, I don’t want to live without you.’”

Paris cut her wrists and swallowed an overdose of pills earlier this year in a suicide attempt but her grandmother says she is doing much better now.

Katherine who was appointed guardian for Prince Michael (16), Paris (15), and Blanket (11) is currently suing concert promoters AEG Live in a wrongful death suit.

In the interview, screened on news show 60 Minutes, Mrs Jackson said “it was the worst day of her life” when Michael died.

Katherine always believed her son was innocent.

She also stated that she always believed her son was innocent despite claims he molested young boys. “I know that Michael didn’t do it,” she explained, “I have no doubt.”

Although Katherine is now 83, she insists she is perfectly able to take care of her grandchildren although she does some things differently to her son: “I didn’t like Michael’s children wearing masks in public so after his passing I never put any on them.”
