Mel B’s husband Stephen Belafonte has taken to Twitter to deny accusations that he hit her.
The film producer called the claims “disgusting” and “untrue” before explaining that the Spice Girl was “very ill.”

As fans of X Factor will know, Mel missed Saturday night’s show and was admitted to hospital due to what was described as a “mystery illness.”
The 39-year-old returned to the panel last night for the grand final although she was missing her wedding ring and did appear to have a number of marks on her arms.
