Mel B has spoken out in support of her husband Stephen Belafonte after weeks of speculation about their marriage.
X Factor judge Mel was recently pictured without her wedding ring and marks could be seen on her arms, leading to claims that her husband had hit her.
Stephen has repeatedly denied these claims but Mel’s mother, Andrea Browne, appeared to confirm he was physically abusing her daughter.
However, Mel took to Instagram today to show support for her husband and say he “would never lay a hand” on her.
The mother-of-three posted a picture of her and Stephen with the caption: “This is for my fans havin problems with my Twitter will be back soon!
‘I’m very good was very polly [sic] but much better now and for the record my hubby never would lay a hand on me sorry took so long but any response fuels rumors #lovemyfamily #lovemyfans”.
On Friday, Mel posted an Instagram family photo which she captioned “Have a Merry Christmas, #familytime #funday”.
