Royals – they’re just like us.
Well, no, they’re not at all like us but sometimes they enjoy doing the same things we do – like getting your best friend to bring her boyfriend with her when you hang out so the lads can entertain each other while ye catch up.
That’s what happened with Meghan Markle and her pal Priyanka Chopra recently.
Meghan and Prince Harry reportedly had Priyanka and her new fiancé Nick Jonas over for a double date night last week.
The royal couple are believed to have hosted them at their country home in Oxfordshire during Nick and Priyanka’s holiday in the UK – the same week that they got engaged.
We don’t know much about the date night but Meghan is said to be delighted at the news that Priyanka and Nick are getting married.
“Everyone is very happy and they are definitely a great match,” a source said.
The couple made their debut as a couple shortly before Meghan and Harry’s big day in May but Priyanka travelled to Windsor for the wedding on her own and attended with friend Abigail Spencer rather than Nick.
It’s been a whirlwind ever since, with Nick getting down on one knee in London and presenting Priyanka with a ring from Tiffany.
“His friends and family have never seen him like this, and they’re all really excited for him,” a source said.
“He’s definitely very serious about her.”
