You may or may not remember a little show called Foreign Exchange, which broadcast on The Den way back in 2004, but this is where the Her.ie girls first clapped eyes on Laois-born actor Robert Sheehan.
What better way to waste our summer days away than watching a show about a secret passageway linking Ireland and Australia? Probably a lot but we have been following his career ever since.
The actor hit the jackpot in 2009, when he landed the role of superhero Nathan Young on E4’s Misfits and subsequently secured his spot on RTÉ’s award-winning Love/Hate.

So What Do We Like About Him?
Robert may not be conventionally good looking but there is definitely something about him. He’s a bit scruffy and doesn’t seem like the type to waste hours perfecting himself when he could be in the pub. After all, there’s nothing worse than a man who takes longer to get ready than us.

He seems to be the type of fella we could really have some fun and would definitely be able to wow your girlfriends with witty jokes and bar-side banter.
In the Her.ie offices, we have a bit of a weakness for a man who knows his way around the country and the fact that Robert is a Midlands boy through and through definitely puts a huge tick on our list.
We think Robert would be great pub-fun!
Finally, we’d never call ourselves shallow but Robert is definitely one of Ireland’s most popular actors at the moment… just imagine the parties we’d be invited to!
Frankly, we think Rob is a pretty sweet package and we’re sure he’ll be giving us a text the second our Man Candy goes live….
