Liza Minnelli has reportedly checked into rehab in Malibu in California.
According to reports, the 68-year-old is being treated for substance abuse.
A spokesperson for the star confirmed that she is making “excellent progress” at the facility.
“Liza Minnelli has valiantly battled substance abuse over the years and whenever she has needed to seek treatment she has done so,” spokesperson Scott Gorenstein stated.
“She is currently making excellent progress at an undisclosed facility.”
In an interview in 2008, Liza stated: “My whole life, this disease has been rampant. I inherited it, and it has been horrendous, but I have always asked for help.”
