It turns out that Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams is one of the 400,000 Garth Brooks fans wanting the Dublin City Council to revoke their decision and grant the event the go ahead.
Earlier today Adams joined News Talk’s Zara King as his party call for Dublin City Council to allow all five Garth Brooks concerts to take place later this month.
King somehow manages to convince Adams to sing a few lines from a Garth classic and before long Gerry break into his favourite number, ‘If Tomorrow Never Comes’.

Zara can’t quite believe her luck and either can we…
Just been serenaded by @GerryAdamsSF who’s sang #GarthBrooks If tomorrow never comes. #randomtweet

We wonder what Garth would think of this rendition…
