Lindsay Lohan has been forced to apologise after posting an offensive racial slur on Instagram – saying she had not intended ‘to offend anyone’.
The Mean Girls actress, who is currently attending Paris Fashion Week, was at a Kanye West performance when she tweeted and instagrammed an image with the caption containing the ‘N’ word:
‘#kanye&kimAlldayn****$ fun show #PFW #goodpeople=goodlife all from good moms!!!!!! @dinalohan @krisjenner
The actress soon experienced a backlash from some of her 3.1million followers, before editing the controversial slur word out of her caption.
A representative of the 28-year old said that the star had only been trying to reference lyrics from the rapper’s song All Day, adding:
“She is a friend of his, it is his new song, her intention was not to offend anyone and she apologizes!”
The actress has continued to post images of her trip to Paris following the controversy.
Neither Kim nor Kanye have commented on the tweet.
