Remember how poor Lindsay Lohan just happened to get caught up in a burglary investigation last week?
Well, the plot has thickened somewhat since that last report. And when we say thickened, we mean it has come to resemble a very complex soap opera storyline.
TMZ, who broke the original story, reported yesterday that Lindsay and her assistant Gavin Doyle were being viewed as suspects in the theft which occurred at Sam Magid’s Hollywood home last weekend.
Doyle then tried to change his story, saying that nothing was stolen, but the authorities (surprise surprise) didn’t buy any of it and refused to close the investigation.
In today’s episode the site revealed that the actress, who is currently on probation for stealing a necklace from a jewellery store in Venice, is saying that she is being framed for the theft of the watches and sunglasses.
This isn’t the first time the actress has been linked to theft.
To save you and us a whole lot of confusion, we’re going to try to break this down as simply as possible.
Two of Lindsay friends have reportedly pointed the finger at the actress saying that she gave them a bag with a few of the stolen items in it. These have now been returned to their owner Magid.
And in the other corner Lindsay is saying that Andrew Knight, who claims to be record company boss Suge Knight’s son and is one of the friends that told police that Lindsay had the items, is the real thief.
However the site also revealed that Magid told cops that Lindsay had called him to apologise before asking him to pray for her.
