Legendary TV presenter and singer Cilla Black has died aged 72.

The star was found in her Spanish home in Marbella, and is believed to have died of natural causes.

Spanish police confirmed the news, stating:

“I can confirm the death of British national Priscilla White, aged 72.

“We are still awaiting autopsy results but everything at this stage is pointing towards her death being the result of natural causes.”

Cilla had recently told media she was suffering from hearing problems and arthritis, and said she didn’t want to live beyond the age of 75:

“75 is a good age to go if things start to drop off.

“I don’t want to linger. I don’t want to be a burden on anybody. I know 75 is only four years away, but I take each day as I find it.”

Cilla was married for 30 years to her manager Bobby Willis until he died in 1999 of lung cancer, aged just 57.

The Surprise Surprise and Blind Date presenter is survived by her three sons, Robert, Ben and Jack, as well as two grandchildren.
