So Kesha has been involved in a pretty heinous contract battle with Sony for over two years now.

The singer’s contract is preventing her from releasing music without producer Dr. Luke. The problem is Kesha has filed a lawsuit against the producer for allegations including physical abuse and drug coercion.

Dr. Luke has counter-filed a lawsuit alleging Kesha fabricated the accusations to get out of her contract.

According to TMZ, Kesha claims he “forced her to snort something before getting on a plane … and during the trip he force himself on her while she was drugged.

On another occasion, Kesha claims after forcing her to drink with him, Dr. Luke gave her what he called “sober pills.” Kesha claims she woke up the following afternoon, naked in Dr. Luke’s bed, sore, sick … and with no memory of how she got there”.

Anyway, the legal battle prevents the singer from releasing any new material. A court hearing is scheduled for today.

Taking to Instagram yesterday the singer shared an emotional cover of Amazing Grace with her fans.

“Tomorrow- nerves are going nuts. can’t sleep,’ she wrote. ‘but I know in the end it’s all gonna be ok”

“it’s a f***ing roller coaster but that’s life. and I will never stop making art,’ she continued. ‘maybe my life will go down an unexpected path, but the message will always be the same. love, acceptance, compassion, equal rights, human rights, animal rights. and that really is my passion and purpose. and no one can ever stop me from fighting the good fight. don’t worry babes❤️luv you all.”
