What a woman!
Just when we thought we couldn’t love Kate Middleton more – we learn that she’s basically a feminist icon.
It has been reported that the Duchess started an alcohol society in university.
Not because she loved to drink (although, she probably did), but she set it up for feminist reasons.
While attending St Andrews university in Scotland, Kate found that there were societies women couldn’t join.
Including a number of exclusive alcohol clubs.

So, Kate Middleton decided she would set up an alcohol members club that women could join.
AMAZING.
The Guardian reported:
“At university, Kate continued to grow in confidence.”
“She co-founded a girls’ drinking society, ‘annoyed that the old ones excluded women’—but no one remembers her getting very drunk.”
Drinking societies are not what you think, btw.
They’re like exclusive, secret clubs where members socialise with each other.

Apparently drinking societies have purposely excluded women in the past.
According to Glamour UK, it’s only in the last five years that well-known drinking societies at universities like Cambridge have started letting women join.
Cheers to you, Kate.
