We’re going to go ahead and say it, but this might just be one of the greatest photo collections ever.
American photographer Sandro Miller has collaborated with actor John Malkovich to recreate some of the most iconic photos in history.
The result is a photo series, titled “Malkovich, Malkovich, Malkovich: Homage to Photographic Masters“, which is simply superb.
Best known for his work in the advertising world, Miller used the project to pay his respects to those who have inspired him along the way.
Miller, who has had an interest in photography from the age of 16, said: “John is the most brilliant, prolific person I know. His genius is unparalleled.
“I can suggest a mood or an idea and within moments, he literally morphs into the character right in front of my eyes.
“He is so trusting of my work and our process… I’m truly blessed to have him as my friend and collaborator.”
We’ve put together a gallery of some of our favourites from the collection and accompanied each with the original subject matter, date and photographer.
Yes, this did make us love Malkovich a little more.
