Jennifer Aniston has spoken out about her divorce from Brad Pitt. The couple split in 2005 after five years of marriage.
In a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning the actress said that it’s not a source of pain for her but rather something that the media continues to bring up.
“I don’t find it painful,” she explained. “I think it’s a narrative that follows you because it’s an interesting headline. It’s more of a media-driven topic.”
Jennifer and Brad were married for five years.
She added that they have been in touch since their split: “We’ve exchanged good wishes and all that sort of stuff to each other. But it’s not a constant thing.”
Jennifer also commented on the speculation surrounding her relationship with fiancé Justin Theroux: “We know what our truth is. That’s all just static.”
And it seems it’s not just Jen’s personal life that is all good at the moment. She has also been receiving praise and award nominations for her performance in new film Cake.
The star’s new film is getting a lot of praise.
Speaking about her involvement , the 45-year-old revealed: “It feels like there’s some page about to turn, and it could just be the closing of a book, or it could be a new chapter.
“Who knows? I just know that for me personally, I did something for myself that was important.”
