Chart-topping singer Olly Murs is reportedly hoping for a reunion with his estranged twin brother Ben this Christmas.
It was reported that Ben fell out with the rest of the family back in 2009 over Olly’s decision to go to the X Factor semi-final rehearsals instead of his brother’s wedding.
“We 100% think about him at Christmas. I’m not going to sit here and say we don’t, we do,” Olly told the Daily Mirror. “We honestly do, he’s my brother. My mum, dad, nan and granddad are obviously thinking about him – he’s family.”
“And I hope he’s thinking about us. Hopefully in a nice way,” he continued. “The door is always open for him to come and see us, and our mum and dad. There’s always been room for a reconciliation.
“He’s got a family now, he’s moving on, and I’m sure one day we will reconcile. When that happens, I don’t know. It’s up to him really.”
