Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger are reportedly on the verge of splitting, just over a year after tying the knot.
Rumours are rife that the star couple, who got engaged in 2012 after a whirlwind romance, are heading for divorce.
A source apparently told Us Weekly: “It’s over. He has been going around L.A. and telling people that they’re divorcing.”
The whispers come only a matter of weeks after the Complicated singer was spotted without her wedding ring. She also recently deleted a tweet of her and her hubby on their one-year anniversary.
If it is true, it will be Avril’s second divorce. She ended her four-year marriage to Sum 41 front man Deryck Whibley in 2010.
The pair have been married for 14 months.
