For the last few weeks Katy Perry and John Mayer have been surrounded by engagement rumours but now it seems that they have called time on their relationship.
A source exclusively told E! News that the split happened within the last few days and it certainly explains why John didn’t accompany Katy on her recent trip to London and Milan.
There are no other details about the break-up as yet but it will come as a surprise for many considering that they seemed to be back on track.
Katy and John, who appeared together on The Ellen DeGeneres Show at Christmas, started dating in 2012 and split briefly last year before deciding to give their romance another go.
