Actress Tamzin Outhwaite has filed for divorce citing adultery.
The actress and her husband have officially called it a day after actor Tom admitted to having a one night stand with another woman.
A source told The Sun newspaper, “Tamzin has cited adultery, so she will have a huge advantage when it comes to negotiations. Tom’s a reasonable bloke and as it’s pretty cut and dried they could be divorced within months.”
Tom has moved out of the family home but the pair are determined to stay on good terms for the sake of their children, Florence, four, and one year old Marnie-Mae.
In June Tamzin spoke about her husband saying, “He’s doing really well…and it’s all pretty happy days at the moment. We’re not big arguers. “
It was only last month that Tamzin was spotted without her wedding ring after which came an official statement from the couple. Sources told The Sunday Mirror that it was Tom’s decision to end the marriage and his wife, best known for playing Melanie Owen in Eastenders, had tried hard to make things work.

It is thought that the 42 year old is being comforted by close pals including Nicole Appleton who is also experiencing marital problems with husband Liam Gallagher. Recent revelations came to light that Liam had fathered a baby daughter with American journalist Liza Ghorbani and the Oasis frontman has reportedly begun a new relationship with his former personal assistnat Debbie Gwyther.
