Newly single Nicole Scherzinger opened up about her break-up to an X Factor contestant after a powerful audition left her emotional.
“It pulled on my heartstrings,” Nicole told the singer quietly.
After speaking about the song’s lyrics about feeling alone at the end of a relationship, she said: “It sucks doesn’t it? Really sucks.”
The former Pussycat Doll and Formula One star Lewis Hamilton recently split.
Friends said the break-up was reluctant, but their busy work schedules didn’t leave them much time to spend together, The Sun reports.
The couple had been together for five years.

X Factor judge Nicole opened up during the auditions in Cardiff and said, “It’s depressing but it’s so good. I would buy your album.”

“Throughout the day she was showered with presents from contestants after celebrating her 35th birthday during the week.
“She really appreciated that and she even impressed her fellow judges by doing the splits during a break in auditions.”
