Irish actor Emmett Scanlan and his girlfriend, actress Claire Cooper, are engaged!
The couple, both of whom starred in Hollyoaks, took to their social media accounts to announce the news.
Emmett, who you may also recognise from The Fall, posted the picture below and wrote: “There are over a million ways to ask the question, but only one real answer… #WorldsLongestHangoverStartsToday”.
His sentiments were echoed by Claire who tweeted: “I am a very happy Cooper today… Soon to be Scanlan! Thank you for your lovely messages”.
The news comes four years after the pair are said to have started dating.
