The wonderful Neil Patrick Harris has confirmed that he will be marrying his partner David Burtka sooner rather than later.
Harris revealed the news to E! insisting that the pair will eventually take that next big step.
“Certainly, we have children and marriage is an appropriate thing to do [as] a part of their well being, so I’m sure it will be inevitable—and awesome!” Harris told the station at the opening of Michael Jackson ONE in Las Vegas.
However, the How I Met Your Mother star was keeping his cards close to his chest about where the ceremony would take place: “We’re about to move to New York so it’s a tricky situation. I don’t know if it would be an east coast or west coast thing.”
The couple confirmed they were thinking about the prospect of marriage after the US Supreme Court ruling on DOMA.
Harris and Burtka are parents to fraternal twins Harper and Gideon.
