Russell Brand is single again after his short term tryst with Jemima Khan came to an abrupt end.
The reason for the split has not been disclosed but Brand declared, “I’m currently single” at a gig on Saturday night.
He then proved it by kissing fans in the front row of his show in Atlanta.
Towards the end of the gig, the 38- year old was tossed pink underwear by a woman in the audience, which he then wrapped around his legs before falling to the floor.
He was grabbed by adoring fans and Brand appeared to love the attention on the last night of the US leg of his Messiah Complex World Tour.
The comedian is a former heroin addict turned yoga enthusiast who has written two books about his experience with drugs. He has been sober for ten years.
Jemina and Russell had a very short romance
In 2011 he divorced his wife of 11 months, singer Katy Perry. She later claimed he did so by text message.
