Australian actor Liam McIntyre has tied the knot!
The actor, best known for his leading role as Spartacus on the Starz series Spartacus: War of the Damned, walked down the aisle with singer-actress Erin Hasan.
People exclusively reports that the pair married in his home city of Melbourne over the weekend in front of 120 guests. According to People, the theme for the ceremony theme was “vintage elegance with a touch of fairytale”.
“I’m beyond happy!” said McIntyre. “I saw true love as a child and dreamt that one day I’d have the same. Today is the first day knowing that I’ll have that forever”.
“Liam and I have always both been inspired by the elegance of the ’20s, the beautiful movies of the ’30s and ’40s,” Hasan told People.
“Touches of vintage charm of the time period and our mutual love of Disney and the fairytales were featured throughout the wedding and reception.”
“I want to live up to my name – in Irish, Liam means ‘determined protector’ and I want to make sure Erin is always safe and supported,” he says. “If I can make her life better, then I’ll feel I’ve done a good job.”
The pair got engaged at Walt Disney World in December 2012.
