Actor Mark-Paul Gosselaar and wife Catriona McGinn are expecting their second child together, a spokesman confirmed for the couple.
The couple welcomed their first child together last year, a boy named Dekker Edward, confirmed the news telling People magazine they had been planning the new addition:
“It’s something we’re really excited about and we’ve been planning for a while.”
The actor, best known for his roles as Zack Morris on 90s hit show Saved By The Bell and Franklin and Bash, and his wife have now started preparing for the baby, with Mark-Paul joking about the upcoming months:
“We’re doing some tweaks to the house and some things to prepare for the room… But we’re old pros at this now. How do you prepare other than get as much sleep as you can?”
Gosselaar is already dad to Ava Lorenn (8) and Michael Charles (10). Eight months after tying the knot with advertising executive McGinn, the couple announced that they were having a baby.
Speaking about the arrival of baby number four, Mark-Paul said:
“Children make life better — not at the beginning — but as they sleep through the night, that makes life better.”
